When I arrived in Sydney in 2014, I had very little English, no money, and no network. What I did have was passion, determination, and an unexpected opportunity: to create and represent the first and only Georgian cuisine pop-up in Sydney for an entire year.
At the time, I didn’t fully realise how fortunate I was. Looking back, it remains one of the happiest and most meaningful chapters of my life — sharing the food, stories, and hospitality of my homeland while doing something I genuinely loved.
Life moved on, as it does. The years brought challenges, growth, and perspective. Somewhere along the way, I stepped away from the path that felt most natural to me. But sometimes moving forward begins with returning to what matters most.
Today, with a few grey hairs, a beautiful family beside me, and a deeper understanding of purpose, I am returning to my roots.
I proudly represent my homeland, Georgia — a small country with an enormous heart and one of the richest traditions of hospitality in the world. Georgian cuisine is more than food; it is history, culture, storytelling, and connection passed from one generation to the next. Every dish carries memory, every table invites belonging, and every shared meal tells a story.
My mission is to bring the warmth, flavours, and traditions of Georgian gastronomy to my second home, Australia, and to create experiences that celebrate authentic hospitality, culture, and community.
This is a new chapter — one built on passion, heritage, and purpose.
